Introducing the 2018 Big Bro

With the launch of our new and improved Big Bro just around the corner we wanted to give you an idea of what’s changed. At first glance the 2018 Big Bro may look a lot like last year’s model, but in fact we’ve made quite a few updates in response to feedback from our customers.

First up, at the front, we’ve used a 44mm straight headtube and tapered fork combination. Along with an increase to 100mm suspension corrected geometry this gives a much wider aftermarket fork compatibility. Head angles have also been slackened a touch for a more progressive feel.

Things at the rear have changed too, stay clearance is increased to be fully 27.5+ compatible in case you want to throw some extra-wide rubber on.

Elsewhere we’ve switched to a 30.9mm spec seatpost, and although the frame still comes with standard 10 x 135mm QR sliding dropouts there is now an option to swap them out for 12 x 142mm thru axle plates.

As far as paint goes the Big Bro will come in Stone Grey as pictured and an eye-catching Raspberry Red for those that like a little colour in their life.

All in all the spirit of the Big Bro lives on, but now in a much more flexible package with an even greater range of setup options.

Big Bro framesets will be available in May and the complete bikes, as pictured, a little later in the summer.
