The ultimate winter road build. I set out to build a winter bike, things escalated and I ended up building what might be the ultimate all road bike for UK cycling. The type of bike most of us should be riding.

Ultegra Di2 groupset, Hope finishing kit, DT Swiss ER1600 Wheelset, and room for full length mudguards when the weather turns.

Mehteh XXL in Tequila Sunrise, frameset from The Woods Cyclery. 10-speed drivetrain (46-30 x 11-34) a mix of GRX (chainset and FD) and Tiagra (RD, levers and calipers).KDT Swiss G540 rim / Bitex hub / Vittoria Mezcal 2.1 29er front and WTB i21 rim / Novatec / Vittoria Terreno T70 700×45 rear. Cockpit a parts bin Truvativ stem and Ritchey Corralitos bars with Cinelli cork tape. Hope headset.
