The Kepler has been a stalwart in our lineup for nearly a decade and now see’s some exciting design changes in 2024. The much-loved Kepler geometry remains, however, we’ve made some functional and cosmetic changes to bring the product in-line with what we’re looking for from a versatile steel frame such as the Kepler. These changes include:
– All new lugged steel fork with dynamo routing
– Internal cable routing for rear brake
– Brazed seat collar
– Bottle mounts on the down tube
– New Oak Leaf metal head badge
The Kepler can run either 700c or 650b wheels and has clearance for 700c x 45 or 650b x 48 tyres to keep you stable when the going gets tough. The frame is constructed from double butted 4130 chromoly steel, a functional tubing which provides the perfect balance of comfort and durability and we’ve applied an ED coating under the paint to protect against corrosion. It’s fully equipped to fit front and rear racks, mudguards and has three bottle mount positions if you’re loading up for a longer trip. To add to its bikepacking credentials the 2024 Kepler features triple cage mounts on each fork blade.
In the 9 years since it’s launch, we’ve sent Keplers to every corner of the globe, from the Australian outback to the hills of California, up to the Highlands of Scotland and along the coastal trails of Dorset. Whether taking part in a multi-day bikepacking race or simply tackling the daily commute, the Kepler gets you there in style and with a smile on your face.

You can see a list of shops where our frames are stocked here. If your LBS isn’t listed then ask them to get in touch with us about ordering a frame for you.
Our frames are made in Taiwan. They are handmade using traditional brazing and welding techniques with the highest quality materials by a team of frame builders who have over 2 decades of experience. Each frame undergoes extensive quality and safety checks before it is shipped to us in the UK. Although built overseas our frames were carefully designed by us in London and are exclusive to Brother Cycles.
