The Mehteh is our new Reynolds 725 steel gravel frame – a fast and agile drop bar bike, designed for long days in the saddle on varied terrain. We’ve pushed the tyre clearances beyond what you’d find on the average gravel bike giving you the option of taking your ride even further off-road. Whether that’s an after work gravel dash or a full blown bikepacking adventure.

The personality of the Mehteh (pronounced /meɪteɪ/) is reflected in its name – a Himalayan word for the mountain dwelling Yeti which literally translates as “Man Beast”!

The Mehteh is constructed out of Reynolds 725 steel; a heat treated tubing famed for its strength and weight saving properties and an ideal material for the challenges of gravel riding and bikepacking. We’ve matched this with The Brother carbon gravel fork up front giving you a lightweight and responsive front end. The frame and fork have clearance for up to 27.5 x 2.2″ or 700c x 45 tyres to help you through the rough stuff.

Other features include thru-axle flat-mount dropouts, a replaceable derailleur hanger, 3 x bottle cage mounts and stealth dropper post routing.

As with all Brother products the Mehteh has been tested rigorously over the last 12 months. It’s taken everything we can throw at it – from the rough tracks of the Jurassic Coast to the smooth gravel of the Bavarian Alps!

Where are your frames made?

Our frames are made in Taiwan. They are handmade using traditional brazing and welding techniques with the highest quality materials by a team of frame builders who have over 2 decades of experience. Each frame undergoes extensive quality and safety checks before it is shipped to us in the UK. Although built overseas our frames were carefully designed by us in London and are exclusive to Brother Cycles.
