The New ‘Teal is Real’ Kepler

Some of you will have seen the recent Bikepacking.com post about our redesigned 2024 Kepler… if not, you can read all about the new Kepler, what changes we’ve made and why in the article HERE
Right now, however, we want to focus on the second paint option we’ll be offering in 2024, a teal to warm grey fade called ‘Teal is Real’! Both paint options feature our new Oak Leaf metal headbadge. We decided to build this one up at Brother HQ using not only tried and tested brands but also some components from alternative companies which we haven’t had a chance to try yet. In particular, the microSHIFT Sword rear derailleur which labels itself as ‘modern components with an analog soul’ which certainly speaks to us and the Juin Tech F1 brakes for stopping power with their hydro/cable combination.
The result is a mighty fine looking bike (If I do say so myself) which, after a couple of test rides, seems to ride as good as it looks! Check out the photos below along with a full build spec at the bottom of the page:
Rear mech and shifters – microSHIFT Sword 1×10
Wheels – Hope Fortus 27.5
Tyres – Schwalbe G-One Ultrabite 2″
Stem / Seatpost – Ritchey
Handlebars – Salsa Cowchipper 52cm
Saddle – Brooks Cambium C15
Headset – Hope
Cranks – Middleburn
Chainring – Wolf Tooth
Brakes – Juin Tech F1
Front rack – Velo Orange Randonneur
